Thought the legal battle between Qualcomm and Apple was over ? Well, Qualcomm has made some explosive statements against Apple accusing it of stealing its trade secrets and source code and sharing it with Intel. In its filing with the Superior Court of California, Qualcomm alleges that Apple has stolen “vast swaths” of its source code to allow for inferior quality Intel modems to catch up with that of Qualcomm in terms of performance. The San Diego chip maker says that Apple prevented it from auditing the use of its source code which first led Qualcomm to sue Apple. Now though, Qualcomm is accusing Apple of a far major wrongdoing. It alleges that Apple engineers shared Qualcomm’s source code and other confidential information with Intel engineers to help improve their baseband. After WhatsApp co-founder Jan Koum left Facebook earlier this year, Instagram co-founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger are also leaving the social networking giant. Facebook had acquired Instagram for $715 billion back in 2012. Both co-founders have already given their resignation and will be leaving the company in the coming weeks. The folks over at  Tom’s Guide  have posted detailed battery life benchmarks of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, with both devices doing exceedingly well. In Tom’s Guide battery test which involves continuous web browsing with a screen brightness of 150 nits over T-Mobile’s 4G network, the iPhone XS Max lasted for 10 hours 38 minutes while the iPhone XS lasted for 9 hours and 41 minutes. The iPhone XS Max fell short of besting the times of other major Android devices like the OnePlus 6, Galaxy Note 9, Google Pixel 2 XL, and the Huawei P20 Pro. However, all these devices have a higher capacity battery than the iPhone XS Max here, with the Galaxy Note 9 and Huawei P20 Pro coming with a massive 4,000mAh battery. When Apple debuted Face ID with the iPhone X in 2017, it claimed it was even more secure than Touch ID. While this might be true, the biggest issues with Face ID are that it is slower than Touch ID and despite being more secure, it could be easily bypassed by one’s identical twin brother or sister . For the 2018 iPhone XS series, Apple has only made claims of Face ID being faster than ever and that it is still more secure than Touch ID. Yet again though, as tests conducted by twin brothers running the LifeofTwinz YouTube channel show, Face ID on the iPhone XS still unlocks if one identical brother registers their face and another tries to unlock the phone. Apple released macOS 10.14 Mojave out into the public earlier today , but a newly discovered bypass flaw in the desktop software has already been discovered. BleepingComputer has the report out on Monday, following along with discoveries made by researcher Patrick Wardle. The bypass is facilitated by an unprivileged app, which allows Wardle to access information pertaining to Contacts data.
